Is Materica a B&B, a hotel or an apartment?
Materica is a holiday apartment with 3 double bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. Unlike a hotel or B&B there is no reception and no fixed hours: you book the whole apartment and the space is yours alone, with en-suite rooms like a hotel.
How many guests can stay?
Up to 6 guests in 3 double bedrooms with private bathrooms. Ideal for families, groups of friends and work teams.
Can I book a single room?
We prefer to rent the whole apartment. At some times of year single rooms with private bathroom are also available: send us your dates and we’ll tell you what’s free.
How far is it from the Royal Palace of Caserta?
About 500 metres, a 10-minute walk along one straight avenue with a comfortable pavement and a cycle lane that leads straight to the Reggia. Caserta town centre and the train station are about 15 minutes on foot; the A1 Caserta Nord motorway exit is 3 minutes by car.
Is there parking?
Yes: 1 reserved parking space in the building’s car park, inside its private grounds, free of charge and unattended. It suits cars, not vans, minibuses or campervans.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 2 pm, check-out by 10 am. If you need different times just ask: we’ll accommodate you whenever possible.
How does check-in work?
Before you arrive we send you all the instructions. By Italian law we must register all guests, so we’ll ask for a valid ID for each person.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast is not served, but there’s a welcome kit with coffee, tea and water, a coffee machine and a fully equipped kitchen. Cafés and pastry shops are a short walk away.
Is there a kitchen?
Yes: a full Febal kitchen with induction hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and coffee machine, plus a dining table and breakfast bar.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, small dogs are welcome.
Is there Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating?
Yes: free fast Wi-Fi, air conditioning in every room and independent heating.
Are bed linen and towels included?
Yes, sheets, towels, toiletries and a hairdryer are included in every room.
Is there a lift?
Yes, Materica is on the 4th floor of a building with a lift.
Is it suitable for families with children?
Yes: three separate bedrooms with private bathrooms, a full kitchen and a large living room make it easy to stay with children.
How do I pay?
For direct bookings we accept cash and bank transfer.

Is there a tourist tax?
Yes, the City of Caserta charges a tourist tax, which is not included in the price. It is €2 per person per night, paid separately.
Can I smoke?
No, the apartment is non-smoking.
How do I get there from Naples or the airport?
Direct trains run from Naples to Caserta (30–50 minutes), then it’s a 15-minute walk. Naples Capodichino airport is about 30 km away, 30 minutes by car.
